Soulstice Review (Playstation 5)

Soulstice the action packed hack n' slash from Modus Games. It's one of the only games in a while that doesn't lie about what it is. It's a fast paced cinematic adventure thats pretty comparable to Devil May Cry. The addicting gameplay, makes the difficulty invisible. It was pretty intense but it was so fun, that it wasn't stressful. Which is a quality embraced by Devil May Cry. The triumphant return of Volition's holy grail; Saint's Row: Self Made. Being a die hard fan of Saint's Row, I was all too excited to play this, regardless of it being a complete and utter reboot. Thymesia Review (PS5)

Thymesia the gothic souls-like rpg from team17 is pretty much what you'd expect from an indie made souls like game. It was actually pretty addicting, and had an interesting story, as short as it was. I really enjoyed the semi-open environments, and the combat was pretty thrilling. I wish there was any sort of map system, because even though it was pretty linear, there were times when I spent a good amount of time running around in a circle and didn't realize it, but I guess that's just a testament to the environment. Madison the first person psychological horror from BLOODIOUS GAMES is great game for those who love games like PT. It had a very interesting story, it kind of felt like it went off path a few times, and such is the fate of almost all indie games, it didn't feel complete and left a lot unsaid. Vampire: The Masquerade - Swan Song the super detective narrative developed by Big Bad Wolf, has the all the makings of an awesome game, but just didn't hit the mark.
