Elden Ring, FromSoftware, Game Review, Playstation 5, PS5, Review -

FromSoftware's next hit; Elden Ring is a masterpiece wrapped up in a blanket of enjoyable stress. I'm a fan of the soulsbourne type of games [Favs; Sekiro, BloodBourne, Nioh], so I was excited to play this ever since it got announced in 2019. The game is beautiful in every way a FromSoftware game could be. The gameplay is addicting. With so many different play styles, it makes for a fun experience, with an added challenge cherry on top. The graphics are amazing, the whole world looks magnificent. The massive story and its countless side characters with mysterious interwoven elements, make...

FazeDefeatz, Forbidden West, Game Review, Horizon 2, Playstation 5, PS5, Videogame -

From the powerhouse studio: Guerilla Games comes Horizon II: Forbidden West. A picture perfect sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn. There's a lot to say about this masterpiece of a game. Every aspect of the game is top rated. From the story, to the gameplay, the music, and the mindblowingly fast load times. This was such an amazing experience. The gameplay was so incredibly fast paced that playing for 10+ hours straight only felt like 5. The story did a beautiful job tying in things from the first game. While all the added story kept up with the brilliant narrative that...

Dying Light 2, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, FazeDefeatz, Game Review, Playstation 5, PS5 -

Dying Light 2: Stay Human from the game developer: Techland came a few years too late. It felt like a very long expansion of the first game. From the graphics, gameplay, all the way down to the main character being a carbon copy of the main character from the first game. Even similar voice actors, so much that I actually thought they were the same main characters. It's a shame that we had to wait so long for what kinda seems like a lazy result. The game was fun, in the way that it felt like the first one, rather...

Bandai, Bandai Namco, Game Review, House of Ashes, Playstation 5, PS5, The Dark Pictures, The Dark Pictures Anthology, Videogame -

The newest entry in The Dark House series: House of Ashes is a somewhat great thriller but a times not so great. The overall experience felt rushed, but that's part of the appeal. The game played more like a movie, which was great to a point, but also a downside. This is what I call a "Super Cinematic" rather than a "Super Narrative" the difference being, a Super Cinematic is when the game is mainly cut-scenes you sit and watch whereas a Super Narrative is mostly making decisions while playing the game. It's this game vs. Wolf Among Us. I...

Game Review, Playstation 4, Playstation VR, PS4, PSVR, Saints & Sinners, The Walking Dead, Virtual Reality -

This virtual reality first person shooter from Skydance Interactive; TWD: Saints & Sinners is possibly one of the most fun VR games I've played. From the story, to it's giant world, to all the RPG elements. It's one of the only VR games that feels full length. From choosing your voice, to skin color. I love how you can craft things, and store things you pick up in your backpack like Fallout. The world is creepy and the fighting is so genuine. My favorite is that you have the stab zombies in the head and physically have to pull your...
